Getting started
- Add a panel with + or A. Ctrl K or / jumps to search; Enter adds the top match. Right-click an empty spot to add a panel right there.
- Move by dragging a panel's header, or press and hold anywhere on a video. Resize from any edge or corner. Shift moves a shared edge, Alt resizes over neighbours.
- Swap: drag a panel onto another and hold still until it says Release to swap. Hold Alt when you let go to overlap instead.
- Customize any panel with right-click or ⋯. Reorder rows inside a panel by pressing and holding one, then dragging.
- Desks are the tabs in the bottom bar. Double-click to rename, drag a panel onto a tab to move it there. Streams on hidden desks unload.
- Layouts (L) are ready-made desks. Tidy (T) keeps your arrangement but lines up edges, closes gaps and fills the desk (Grid in Settings makes equal cells; Undo in the toast). Maximize fills the screen; Esc returns.
Live channels
- Right-click a video for the channel list. In Streamers, whoever is live right now sits at the top with how long they've been on.
- Your own list: Add a channel at the top of any tab takes a Twitch, Kick, YouTube
/channel/UC… or Rumble link. Hover a row and press × to remove it. Removed channels come back from the bottom of the tab. Your list is saved in this browser only.
- Streams start muted when StonksDesk opens (browsers block sound until you click). Turn on Streams load on click below to save memory instead.
- YouTube channels play whatever they're broadcasting now. Dropped streams reconnect on their own; ↻ reloads by hand.
- Upcoming streams (calendar button or U): who's live and who's due in the next 24 hours. Twitch uses published schedules; Kick and Twitch get an estimated time from past broadcasts. YouTube needs your own API key.
- Twitch plays only when StonksDesk runs on a website, not as a file opened from your computer. Rumble needs the stream's
rumble.com/embed/… link.

Performance
Each video is a full player (about 150–300 MB of memory). Pause what you aren't watching (P pauses everything; a paused panel unloads completely), or turn on Streams load on click. Turn on hardware acceleration in your browser. With the Glass material, Reduce transparency helps older machines.
